Taking Notes at Home

Ok students, this week is almost over...you can breathe. Since we have been learning how to take notes, I would like you to practice taking notes at home. I would like you to visit this website on Native Americans: http://video.nationalgeographic.com/video/player/kids/history-kids/native-americans-kids.html
Since you are living in New Mexico, it would be good for you to learn about Native Americans. I would like you to take notes on this video and turn it in by Monday in class. Again, you are to take notes using any method that you have learned about note taking and then turn in the notes that you took on this video to me this Monday, August 30.

Goals

Hello All,
I would like you all to tell me what you expect from this class. I would like you to tell me what you want to learn, what you have trouble with in terms of conversation and listening. Also, I would like you to tell me what your goals are for this semester in this conversation class; for example, do you want to be able to leave this classroom being able to listen to English better or learn more about American culture.
